This Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the parish each year.

This year the date for Confirmation is on Saturday 21st November 2026 at 10am.
 
In preparation for this Sacrament, home and church are involved. Parents are expected to attend meetings. There are several special liturgies. Priests and catechists are involved in preparing the young people for this Sacrament.

This preparation takes place in the Church hall on Saturday afternoons beginning in September 2026 from 2pm to 4pm.

Children should be at least in their twelfth year in order to be Confirmed
(School Year 8 - September 2025).

You will need provide proof of baptism when applying for Confirmation.

The cost of the programme is £40, this covers the programme expenses including the coach trip. We ask for this at the first meeting (cash, cheque or card)
